At ShippyPro, we’ve built the most extensive online e-commerce logistics library, and we’re seeking an exceptional Product Director to lead our talented team of Product Managers and UX / UI designers. Your mission will be to drive our product strategy, create a customer-centric roadmap, and ensure our solutions stay ahead of the curve in this rapidly evolving industry.
Reporting to COO and managing the product team: hiring, supervising / mentoring, and mapping assignments across the team, while fostering an environment that encourages innovation and collaboration. Currently, it includes 6 PMs and a team of 3 UX / UI designers.
Creating and maintaining the product strategy. This strategy defines the long-term goals for the product and how it will achieve those goals. Your plan is driven by the needs of the customer and the business; therefore, we must stay ahead of the market and our customers’ evolving needs.
Developing the product roadmap. The roadmap outlines the steps that need to be taken to achieve the goals set in the strategy. You are the central point for communicating the overall plan to key stakeholders. The roadmap represents a detailed plan of action but at the same time needs to be flexible to our growing needs.
Analyzing product data. You must track and analyze data to understand the product’s performance. You collect and analyze the data regularly and share the findings with the product team so that the team can make data-driven decisions.
Measure results and progress. You are responsible for selecting the appropriate metrics and ensuring that they are tracked and reported regularly.
