Smart Freight Solutions Inc. is an asset-based company providing comprehensive logistics solutions across the United States. We specialize in Drayage and Over-The-Road (OTR) transportation, focusing on the safe transport of cargo for our customers.

Role Description

This is an on-site/remote, full-time role for a Freight Broker. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing and coordinating freight shipments, developing relationships with carriers and customers, negotiating rates, dispatching shipments, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves frequent communication with clients and carriers to facilitate the efficient transport of cargo.

Qualifications

• Experience in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage
• Strong Customer Service and Account Management skills
• Proficiency in Dispatching
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field is a plus
• Previous experience in logistics or transportation industry is preferred
