From the division Sunset Hotels & Resorts, we are looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing for METT Milan Torre Velasca, our new Residences and Suites project located in the iconic Torre Velasca building in the heart of Milan.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage sales and marketing goals and strategies aligned with the METT brand business strategy, annual sales plan, and objectives to achieve hotel budgets and maximize revenues.
  • Handle budgets for sales activities and promotions.
  • Manage assigned FIT & Leisure Group accounts, following up to meet budgeted revenues through existing clients and prospects.
  • Identify sales opportunities by analyzing consumer requirements, market share, competitors' strengths and weaknesses, forecasting business, and establishing targeted market share.
  • Design and implement strategic business plans to expand and build strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs.
  • Analyze monthly property performance and provide reports with recommendations to improve strategies.
  • Develop and promote weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.
  • Evaluate the performance of distribution partners and contracted rates across various segments.
  • Develop marketing plans to maintain the brand positioning of the hotel.
  • Implement action plans to improve production, quality, and customer service standards, resolve problems, and identify system improvements.
  • Achieve sales objectives through planning, developing, and evaluating advertising and promotional programs.
  • Manage relationships with external organizations such as advertising and PR agencies, market research firms, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry (hotel or resort).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the brand at international events and fairs.
  • Strong connections with luxury agencies and fashion houses in Milan.
  • Good understanding of the Milan market and local hospitality landscape.
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Strong planning and budget management skills.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in luxury hospitality environments.
  • Availability to travel.
