HR & Union Relations Manager

We are looking for an HR & Union Relations Manager with experience in a manufacturing companies and solid expertise in union relations management.

In order to support the Italian plants results achievement and improvement, he/she will provide leadership and support the management in developing the plant organization while guaranteeing consistency with legislation and with the company processes.

In coordination with the HR team, he/she will help to implement all the human resources processes in line with Comer Industries policies and programs.

He/she has a bold experience with key HR processes to:

• Support and drive the management of the union relations;
• Contribute to the effective management of Labor Relations, providing updates, facilitating the communication process through the organization on specific topics
• Support the Plant Management in developing the entrusted functions and people, acting as reference point for HR processes (e.g. Performance Appraisal, Compensation, disciplinary actions, job rotation, etc.);
• Monitoring and granting the proper implementation of labour regulations, guidelines and company policies;
• Collaborating with each organizational unit in the Budget analysis and cost control, granting the respect of established guidelines;
• Assuring the proper implementation and respect of planned activities and approved budgets.

Requirements:

• Economics/law degree + master’s degree in Human Resources Management (preferred);
• 5/7 years of experience in HR in an industrial environment;
• Passion and a strong interest in working within an industrial framework together with dealing with grievances, HR issues and Unions;
• Experience in management plants staff;
• Good English knowledge;
• Advanced use of Office suite and strong attitude for IT systems;
• Sound knowledge on the Italian labor law
• Good knowledge on the Lean Manufacturing methodology, a WCM knowledge is a plus
• Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad;
