Our client is a medium-sized subsidiary, based in Rho, Italy, of a large multinational group headquartered in Switzerland. The company operates in the industrial automation and material handling sector, providing innovative solutions for logistics, production, and supply chain management. Their high-quality systems are used across various industries, including manufacturing, retail, and e-commerce, ensuring efficient and reliable operations. With a strong focus on engineering excellence, financial stability, and compliance, the company is dedicated to maintaining its position as a leader in its field while continuously improving its internal processes.

Responsibilities

Supervise Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Lerdger Accounting

Oversee customer billing in collaboration with the internal sales team

Manage monthly IAS closures and annual financial statements for group consolidation

Conduct quarterly forecasting, budgeting, and monthly intercompany reconciliations

Ensure compliance with VAT and fiscal regulations in Italy and Switzerland

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual tax obligations with external consultants

Support the Transfer Pricing consultant in preparing documentation

Liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance

Supervise payroll processing with support from an external provider

Act as the Local HR Operations Manager, ensuring compliance with labor laws

Serve as the Local Privacy Coordinator for data protection compliance

Lead and develop a small team of three finance professionals

Drive internal process improvements and ensure ESG reporting compliance

Your Profile

10+ years of experience in a similar role within a small to medium-sized company, preferably a part of a big group

Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP, IFRS, and IAS regulations

Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and intercompany reconciliations

Knowledge of Italian labor law and Payroll Management

Familiar with local and international taxation frameworks, including VAT

Proficient in Excel and SAP S / 4HANA, knowledge of other accounting and reporting tools are an avantage

Proven team management skills with the ability to lead and develop a small team

Empathetic and diplomatic approach, able to build consensus and drive ideas forward smoothly

Business-Fluency in English. Good knowledge of German or French would be an advantage
