Our culinary venues include La Terrazza, one of Italy's most spectacular restaurants, the Pool Grill Restaurant, and Cocktail Bar, all dedicated to excellence.

We are seeking a Maître for the 2025 spring/summer season to join our restaurant team.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, customer service, and handling challenges. They should possess excellent taste and exemplary service skills.

The Maître manages dining room operations, overseeing front-of-house staff, customer relations, and ensuring impeccable service.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, responsibilities include:

• Anticipating guest needs and handling complaints to ensure personalized, high-standard service.
• Collaborating with the Restaurant Manager for staff development and managing daily operations according to standards.
• Maintaining professional relationships with guests and colleagues.

Requirements include:

• Effective communication, emotional intelligence, and adaptability.
• Teamwork and proactive assistance to colleagues.
• Goal setting and resource management skills.
• Respect and inclusiveness regardless of background.
• Ability to advise on pricing strategies as instructed by the Restaurant Manager.

Additional requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in a similar luxury hotel role.
• Fluent in English and Italian; a third language is a plus.
• Experience in international fine dining settings.
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine and wines.
• HACCP certification.

We offer a seasonal labor contract from April to November 2025, with potential for ongoing seasons and career development at Splendido.

Salary is approximately €2,350 gross per month, with additional benefits including bonuses, accommodation, transportation benefits, staff meals, and access to Belmond's travel and leisure programs.
