Responsibilities

The ideal candidate for the role of Senior Data Scientist at NTT DATA will possess a combination of skills including hands-on Generative AI experience (preferably on Azure / GCP and on-premise), engineering best practices, statistical expertise, and Machine and Deep Learning skills, along with strong business acumen.

The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, ML engineers, product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders from internal teams and external clients. They will manage multiple projects, lead data science teams, and liaise with client stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience as a data scientist;
• Proficiency in Python (mandatory) and SQL;
• Knowledge of Java / Scala or C++ / R is advantageous;
• Experience with TensorFlow and PyTorch, especially in Computer Vision applications;
• Understanding of ML solution architecture and Generative AI pipelines;
• Experience with cloud and hybrid ML implementations;
• Ability to integrate innovative business intelligence, machine learning, and alternative data practices to improve efficiency and revenue;
• Full-stack execution of data science projects, from data wrangling to deployment;
• Collaboration with data engineers to develop production-ready pipelines, including data ingestion, cleaning, feature engineering, and model training / prediction;
• Research and analysis in reinsurance and advisory products to enhance industry models and develop new offerings;
• Strong relationship management with internal teams and external clients.
