Clinical & Professional Marketing Specialist
Drives professional recommendation of product categories within the assigned internal region, contributing to the development and execution of professional marketing plans in alignment with the Clinical & Professional Marketing Manager S&RC and the local Commercial Leader.
Responsibilities include :
- Improving the lives of people with sleep & respiratory disorders by providing innovative solutions and products.
- Increasing brand preference and customer loyalty among professional stakeholders (indirect channel partners, DME’s, homecare providers).
- Contributing to profitable growth by driving prescriptions from clinical societies (medical community : physicians, nurses, technicians).
- Engaging and educating professional & clinical societies, customers, and patient organizations.
- Providing clinical benefits of Philips products, technical advice, and product demos for clinical audiences (prescribers, patient organizations, local HCP).
- Participating in local events, congresses, and collaborating with the Clinical & Professional Marketing Manager for categories.
- Informing clinical strategy and providing insights.
- Supporting the Clinical & Professional Marketing Manager in understanding segmentation and key requirements from a clinical perspective through engagement with key markets, KOLs, and patient associations.
- Planning clinical roadmaps.
- Managing clinical insights and claims roadmap to support development, marketing, and sales activities.
- Collecting and coordinating clinical requests for studies from the local region.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's / MSc Degree or similar diploma.
- 3-5 years of experience as Application Specialist in Sleep / Respiratory or Healthcare industry.
- Deep practical knowledge of clinical and health economics domains such as Pulmonology, Neurology, ENT, Sleep, or Cardiology.
- Understanding of care pathways and ability to recognize and facilitate removing barriers for new clinical approaches.
- Problem-solving skills and drive for continuous improvement via Lean methodologies.
- Outstanding business acumen and quick learning ability.
- Financial knowledge to understand revenue and margin management (recommended).
- Good ICT skills and experience with digital solutions in the Connected Care environment, supporting patient management platforms like “CareOrchestrator”.
- Ability to bring people together and align around common goals, leveraging Philips' organizational power.
- Support growth of marketing and sales colleagues across the organization.
- Fluent in Italian and advanced in English.
We believe in working better together. Office-based teams work in-person at least 3 days / week. Onsite roles require full-time presence at company facilities. Field roles are mostly outside main facilities, at customer or supplier locations.
This is a field role based in Naples, responsible for Southern Italy (Campania, Puglia, Calabria, Basilicata, and Molise).
