Test Engineer

Leonardo, a leading international industrial group in Aerospace, Defense, and Security, is seeking a Test Engineer for its Electronics - Manufacturing & Supply Chain Business Area, located in Montevarchi (AR).

Responsibilities include:

• Designing testing solutions and setting up testing of EO (electro optical) devices and sub-assemblies, focusing on automation and repeatability, in collaboration with engineering during development and lifecycle management.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering.
• Senior level: 5-10 years of experience.

Technical Skills:

• Software development for avionic devices testing using Windows and Visual C++.
• Development of user interfaces in Visual C++ and C++.
• Database interfacing with mySQL and MS Access.
• Kernel patching in Linux and U-Boot bootloader.
• Programming in C++, MATLAB scripting, and software documentation.
• Basic analog and digital electronics knowledge, schematic reading, troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with National Instruments LabVIEW, TestStand platforms.
• Programming in C and Python preferred.

Behavioral Skills:

• Teamwork, communication, organized problem analysis, reporting skills.

Language proficiency: Excellent English (minimum B2 level).
