  • Transportation Specialist
  • This role is in the UPS Healthcare Italy division, operating in the pharmaceutical logistics and distribution market, shipping from Passo Corese (Rome area) and Somaglia (Milan area).

The role involves supporting the Operations Transportation Department by providing labor know-how, analytical skills, and problem-solving techniques to improve processes and support strategic decisions related to Cold Chain Transportation, including fleet development and customer implementation.

We offer a permanent contract to a skilled worker responsible for performance monitoring, using CRM tools to better position the Healthcare transportation market, support workforce sales operations, and improve economics by reducing inefficiencies.

  • Responsibilities include:
  • Quantitative and qualitative analysis supporting sales, pricing, and operations planning (volumes forecasts, end-of-month closing, new business development)
  • Supporting customer service and operations with transportation issues
  • Managing Tesi Square Platform
  • Interfacing with carriers and managing supplier relations
  • KPI analysis and monitoring for carriers and clients
  • Supporting new client implementation
  • Assisting in the setup and growth of new domestic and international lanes

  • What you’ll need:
  • Experience as a Data Analyst in complex organizations, preferably in Logistics, Pharma, or Retail Transportation
  • Knowledge of Cold Chain/Transportation networks (preferred)
  • Degree in Economics or Statistics Engineering (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Excel and Data Analysis/BI tools
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills
  • Strong networking skills within large organizations
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Business proficiency in English
  • Willingness to travel for business trips
