Your Role

We seek a talented and motivated Operation Project Leader to join our growing organization. This self-motivated, creative, and proactive individual will work successfully in a dynamic environment across multiple platforms, architectures, and technologies. Based at our HQ in Cesena, Italy, you will manage new strategic projects to expand and strengthen our international manufacturing footprint. Your main tasks include project scheduling, resource allocation, coordination of manufacturing layout activities, and the introduction of new manufacturing technologies and processes.

The role also involves overseeing the phase-in of new products according to the project plan, optimizing and monitoring new production processes, cycles, quality, and technological standards. This is an international role requiring willingness to travel and stay abroad temporarily.

Your Impact

  • Manage problem-solving activities (6σ, Kaizen, etc.) related to project management and manufacturing.
  • Oversee factory and assembly line layout planning and project Gantt management.
  • Manage sub-projects such as machinery and automation system introductions.
  • Conduct SWOT analyses of technology and layout solutions with the team.
  • Evaluate and optimize internal logistics flows with the team.

About You

  • Degree in mechanical or management engineering, focused on production and logistics.
  • 4-5 years of experience in a similar role or in manufacturing, production, or logistics.
  • Experience in automotive, whitegoods, or industrial manufacturing with series production, complex technologies, and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of welding, metal, painting technologies, and processes is a plus.
  • Understanding of production and assembly processes.
  • Fundamentals of Lean methodology (Value Stream Mapping, SMED, DMAIC, 6σ, etc.).
  • Objective-oriented, with good interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Power BI is advantageous.
  • Enthusiasm, humility, proactivity, and a passion for sports and physical activity are desirable qualities.
