NextChem is Maire's company dedicated to Sustainable Technology Solutions. Leveraging extensive expertise in nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon capture, fuels, chemicals, and polymers, we provide innovative solutions to support the energy transition.

Within the Post Order Department, the Expediter is responsible for monitoring the progress of material supplies in accordance with contractual deadlines and planned methods, in collaboration with the Post Order Manager. The role involves coordinating with technical teams, procurement, and suppliers, and providing timely updates on supply status, highlighting deviations and critical issues to facilitate proper planning and shipping activities.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

  1. Define, with the Post Order Manager and Category Manager/Head of Department, the type and frequency of expediting activities aligned with the supply budget.
  2. Establish effective communication channels with suppliers to ensure efficiency throughout the supply process.
  3. Verify and agree with vendors on main supply phases and monitor their compliance, addressing any negative deviations with appropriate communications and corrective actions.
  4. Ensure vendors produce all required contractual documentation, focusing on key documents necessary for ongoing supply continuity.
  5. Monitor documentation approval cycles, addressing deviations that could impact contractual deadlines.
  6. Produce expediting reports within scheduled times, documenting activities and communications with suppliers.
  7. Request and verify preliminary information from suppliers, including weights, volumes, packing lists, and transport drawings.
  8. Analyze reports from external agencies, identify critical issues, and collaborate on corrective actions with relevant departments.
  9. Upon final inspection approval, proceed with the technical release of materials using company tools.

Personal Attributes:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry, is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Effective team player and communicator.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for short periods.
  • Adaptable, entrepreneurial, and methodical in work approach.
