Role and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with managers to understand requirements and establish effective recruiting strategies.
  • Develop and advertise accurate job descriptions to attract highly qualified candidates.
  • Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates.
  • Assess candidate interest and ability to thrive in ION culture.
  • Foster lasting relationships with candidates.
  • Share best practice interviewing techniques with interviewers.
  • Build an effective network of internal and external resources.
  • Ensure candidates receive timely and engaging communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop and deliver a compelling employer brand strategy.
  • Promote our values, culture, and passion.
  • Distribute engaging employer brand content.
  • Design and monitor key metrics to evaluate employment practices.
  • Develop recommendations based on data from ATS, surveys, and feedback.
  • Identify industry best practices and nurture networks to elevate our brand.

Requirements

  • Focus on delivering an excellent candidate experience.
  • Be ambitious, efficient, and stable under deadlines and priorities.
  • Build relationships across disciplines and time zones.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and utilize software tools.
  • College degree in Marketing, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Proven success in tech recruiting and filling positions, including senior levels.
  • Experience with competitive job markets preferred.
  • Knowledge of candidate tracking systems.
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience.
  • Aptitude for sharing best practices and becoming a subject matter expert.
  • Ability to advise hiring managers effectively.
