The applicant shall assist the project development department in the acquisition and management of PV projects, Utility Scale, Energy Communities, Green Hydrogen integration, BESS, from site scouting to Ready to Build stage.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the development process up to RtB authorizations for PV projects including large-scale PV, Renewable Energy Communities, Solar Rooftops, and other self-consumption-based models, as well as energy storage systems and integration with our Green Hydrogen development strategy.
  • Carry out preliminary technical/environmental assessments for project acquisition in cooperation with Business Development.
  • Define and follow up on the project development process, including timelines, budgets, cash flows, and all necessary reports.
  • Monitor preliminary project design with the support of the team, engaging and supervising engineering consultants, ensuring compliance with permitting, environmental, and construction requirements.
  • Oversee environmental and construction authorization procedures, supervising permitting and licensing consultants.
  • Liaise with electrical network operators (DSO and TSO), managing web portals up to grid connection execution.
  • Coordinate with engineering and construction departments.
  • Manage communications, archives, and data flow between competence centers and the Italian branch.
  • Conduct initial feasibility and constraints screening activities, including GIS analysis.
  • Provide back-office support: preparation for filing activities, checklist of required documentation, and general support for development activities.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Experience in developing, asset management, consultancy, or advisory roles for greenfield PV projects in Italy.
  • Understanding of the Italian energy regulatory framework, especially related to PV plant development, environmental, and licensing requirements.
  • Knowledge of the Italian electricity system—technical and regulatory aspects, including distributed generation regulations and interconnection procedures.
  • Proficiency in English (written and oral).

DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Project Management or Technical Advisory experience.
  • Proficiency with CAD and GIS software.
  • Knowledge of BESS and Wind project development frameworks.

EDUCATION

  • Master’s degree in Electrical, Energy Engineering, or related technical discipline.
