Italian Speaking Senior Tax Advisor - Relocate to London With relocation package

Our Client : Origin recruitment is looking for an

to join our client's growing Italian Tax team in London. The successful candidate will support a renowned senior Partner and work on complex cross-border matters involving Italian tax, trusts, and estate planning.

Purpose of Position

To provide tailored advice to an international client base of high-net-worth individuals on a broad range of Italian tax and succession planning matters. The role involves technical structuring work and will require close collaboration with colleagues across jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver clear and commercially sound guidance to international clients regarding Italian tax structuring.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of Italian tax law to cross-border estate and wealth planning.
  • Manage a varied caseload effectively, in line with level of experience and with appropriate support.
  • Draft high-quality documentation with minimal supervision.
  • Support and mentor junior team members as needed.
  • Build and maintain trusted client relationships, including with intermediaries and private individuals.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and thought leadership within the group.
  • Participate in business development activities such as client presentations, events, seminars, and proposals.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory and compliance standards.

Personal Specification

  • Professionally qualified in Italy as an avvocato or dottore commercialista, with at least 4 years of experience in Italian tax law.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Experience in advising private clients on Italian tax matters is advantageous, but not essential.
  • STEP qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent legal and commercial judgement, with an understanding of the unique needs of HNWIs.
  • Strong drafting, research, and analytical abilities.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and within a team.
  • Personable, client-focused, and proactive in building long-term relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel.
