Back-end Software Engineer

With thousands of active users, we are the most popular QR code payment solution among restaurants. We simplify and enhance the customer experience and restaurant staff's workflow with a QR code. Customers scan, split bills, tip, pay... and they are done! Waiters can focus on what they love most: pampering their customers.

What you will do

• Develop using Node.js with express or fastify, APIs, and Microservices
• Work independently
• Learn from colleagues and suggest process improvements

Your profile

• 8+ years of experience
• Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices architecture, and functional programming
• Experience managing complete projects, fully operational and online, in microservices with distributed databases on Google Cloud or AWS
• Adaptability to a fast-changing environment
• Passion for your work and enthusiasm
• Curiosity and initiative to explore new ideas and ventures
• Proficiency in English

• Architecture: Distributed on GCP with GKE
• Frontend: REACT with Websockets
• Backend: Node.js, Typescript
• APIs: RESTful and Websocket
• Data storage: MySQL, MongoDB, BigQuery for analytics

What we offer

• Full-time employment contract
• Salary: €50,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience
