Control Engineer

Akronos Technologies, an Italian company leader in innovation, R&D, and high-tech engineering services, is looking for a Control Engineer.

Responsibilities :

• Develop algorithm modules for inverters driving PM and IM motors adopting a model-based design approach, from simulation up to C code generation using Matlab / Simulink.
• Integrate motor control algorithm modules with the software platform.
• Develop and maintain software modules.
• Integrate existing motor control platform with functionalities specific to the product line.
• Develop and maintain the company's power electronics platform.

Competence Requirements :

• BSc / MSc / PhD degree in Electrical / Electronics / Control System Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in motor control development or specific academic training on electric motors.
• Good knowledge of electric motor operation, construction, and application.
• Strong knowledge of power electronics and its application in inverters for motor control.
• Proficiency in Matlab / Simulink for rapid control prototyping.
• Knowledge of Ansys tools for FEM simulations.

• Organizational skills and a teamworking attitude.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

All skills will be verified during a technical qualification meeting.
