Summary

The IAM Administrator will be responsible for managing user access to our organization's information systems, ensuring appropriate permissions, and maintaining a secure and compliant access control environment. A strong understanding of IAM principles, access control processes, and security best practices are needed.

IAM Administrator Major Responsibilities

  • Manage user access and provisioning across multiple systems, applications, and platforms in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Administer user accounts, including creation, modification, and deletion, ensuring accuracy and adherence to access control policies.
  • Monitor and analyze user access privileges to identify and address any unauthorized or inappropriate access.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather access requirements, define access control policies, and implement appropriate user access roles and entitlements.
  • Conduct periodic access reviews and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Respond to access-related inquiries, requests, and incidents from end-users and provide timely resolution and support.
  • Implement and maintain identity and access management tools and technologies, including user provisioning / de- provisioning systems, role-based access control (RBAC), and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of IAM processes and systems with other IT infrastructure components, such as directory services and single sign-on (SSO) solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze access management system logs and generate reports on user access activities, compliance, and system performance.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IAM and access control, and recommend improvements to enhance security and efficiency.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

Position Qualifications

  • Required : College Graduate, or at least 1 year or equal job experience
  • Desired : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Work Experience

  • Required : Proven experience as an IAM Administrator, Access Management Administrator, or similar role, with a strong understanding of IAM principles, access control processes, and security best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of IAM concepts, technologies, and tools, such as user provisioning / de-provisioning, RBAC, MFA, and SSO. Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks related to access management, such as ISO 27001, NIST, or COBIT. Experience with IAM systems and tools, such as SailPoint, Oracle Identity Manager, Azure AD, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot access-related issues and provide effective solutions. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in managing user access privileges. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Proactive and self-motivated, with a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the evolving IAM landscape.

Skills / Knowledge

  • Required : Knowledge of cyber security principles, including authentication, authorization, and data privacy. Understanding of directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP) and their integration with IAM systems.

Licenses / Certifications

  • Desired : Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM), Certified Access Management Specialist (CAMS), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Authorization Professional (CAP), Microsoft Certified(or Currently Working To get)
