Position

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team at Hotel Pitrizza, an iconic 5-star luxury resort located in the heart of Costa Smeralda. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a prestigious hospitality brand, renowned for its refined elegance and personalized service.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all purchasing activities in compliance with corporate procurement policies and local regulations.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal terms, quality, and service levels.
  • Coordinate with all departments (F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, etc.) to anticipate and fulfill operational purchasing needs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely ordering, receiving, and storage of goods.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement cost control measures to optimize stock management and reduce waste.
  • Ensure traceability, compliance with HACCP protocols, and sustainability principles across the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with the Finance department for budgeting and reporting activities.
  • Support seasonal openings and closings, including sourcing, forecasting, and onboarding of new suppliers.


Profile

  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in luxury hospitality.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations and procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Birchstreet, Material Control).
  • Knowledge of local suppliers and logistics specific to Sardinia is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a seasonal and dynamic environment.
