Lean Coordinator

Lippert started its activities in Europe in 2016, acquiring some of the most successful companies in the Recreational Vehicle sector, followed by companies from the Railway and Marine sectors. The RV and Railway divisions have their headquarters in Tuscany, Italy, where production facilities, administrative offices, and the central commercial division are located. This division coordinates European offices in the caravanning sector, including the Dutch brand Polyplastic (2020) and the German brand Schaudt (2021).

Lippert RV manufactures components and accessories for the original equipment and aftermarket of recreational vehicles in Europe, such as slide-out systems, pop-up roofs for vans, vinyl, aluminium and frameless windows, bike racks for motorhomes and vans, height-adjustable bed systems, electric and manual access steps, entrance and storage doors, table legs, window shades and flyscreens, TV brackets, boosters, and battery chargers.

Lippert Railway produces high-quality glass windows and interior furniture for trains, focusing on innovative solutions. Their products are offered to vehicle owners, operators, manufacturers, refurbishers, industry subcontractors, authorities, and organizations.

Lippert Marine, under the Lewmar brand, offers hardware, winches, hydraulics, windlasses, anchors, thrusters, steering systems, hatches, and portlights suitable for every boat, from small day fishermen to large mega-yachts.

LEAN COORDINATOR

Job Summary

Reporting to the Lean Manager and working closely with GMs, the LEAN Coordinator will promote and implement LEAN culture and continuous improvement tools across LCI Italy manufacturing plants.

Tasks

• Collaborate with GMs of LCI Italy plants to set improvement projects and targets.
• Define detailed action plans using lean methods and tools.
• Participate in evaluating actions to optimize processes by reviewing workflows and technological aspects, considering people’s mindset and needs.
• Analyze and execute actions for process engineering design and improvement.
• Serve as a coach and mentor to support team members in achieving the action plan.
• Assist plants in seizing improvement opportunities and reaching annual savings goals.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a similar manufacturing role focused on industrial engineering improvement activities.
• Strong knowledge of LEAN tools and methods.
• Solid project and change management skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills, operational flexibility.
• Proficiency in English.
• Availability to travel.
