San Marco Veterinary Clinic & Laboratory is a multi-disciplinary, specialist veterinary tertiary hospital in the Northeast of Italy, near Padova and Venice.
The center features an in-house, globally recognized Laboratory and serves as a multidisciplinary reference center for emergency and critical care, anesthesia, dermatology, oncology, neurology, diagnostic imaging, interventional radiology, rehabilitation and physiotherapy (including hydrotherapy/swimming pool), acupuncture, pain management, internal medicine, surgery, radiology, dentistry, behavior, epidemiology, clinical pathology, nutrition, and pathology.
With ongoing growth and a reputation for clinical excellence, San Marco is seeking to recruit a board-certified oncologist to work alongside other specialists. Non-board-certified surgeons with significant experience may also be considered. Candidates should be highly motivated, proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional clinical care, possessing excellent social and clinical skills.
San Marco is an accredited ECVIM-CA training center and holds re-accreditation from ECVCP, ECVP, ECVD. Our team includes board-certified veterinarians in ECVIM-CA, ECVN, ECVAA, ECVCP, ECVP, ECVD, as well as board-eligible professionals in various European veterinary colleges, Ph.D. holders, and other postgraduate degree holders.
We promote an evidence-based, multidisciplinary approach and a culture of continuous learning and collegiality. We offer an active internship program, and our extensive caseload supports ongoing clinical research across all specialties.
Our hospital facilities include 16 consultation rooms, a well-designed 350 m² hospitalization area, and a dedicated ICU staffed 24/7. Equipment includes a 3T MRI (Siemens Skyra), a 384-slice C-arm with flat panel for fluoroscopic and angiographic procedures, 10 ultrasound machines, and Karl Storz endoscopic, laparoscopic, thoracoscopic, and arthroscopic systems.
We are planning an expansion of an additional 5,000 m², including radiotherapy and hybrid rooms for multimodal, minimally invasive procedures.
