Our business operations are powered by a combination of Zoho One, custom portals, APIs, automation, analytics, and technology integrations.

We are looking for a hands-on Zoho CRM Developer who can take ownership of CRM development, automation, integrations, and continuous improvement of our Zoho ecosystem. This is not a role limited to CRM configuration or administrative support. The ideal candidate should be able to understand business requirements, design solutions, write Deluge scripts, build automations, integrate systems through APIs, troubleshoot issues, and independently take a requirement from development to deployment.

About the Role

The Zoho CRM Developer will be responsible for developing, customizing, automating, integrating, and maintaining Zoho CRM and related Zoho One application.

The person will work closely with Product, Sales, Operations, Finance, and Management teams to understand business requirements and convert them into scalable CRM solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Deluge, Zoho CRM automation, REST APIs, webhooks, third-party integrations, and Zoho One application.

Key Responsibilities

1. Zoho CRM Development & Customization

• Design, configure, customize, and maintain Zoho CRM modules, layouts, fields, relationships, custom views, and business processes.
• Develop CRM solutions based on business and operational requirements.
• Configure workflows, approvals, validation rules, assignment rules, blueprints, notifications, and automation journeys.
• Build and maintain custom CRM functions using Deluge scripting.
• Design CRM structures that are scalable, reliable, and easy for business teams to use.

2. Deluge Development & Automation

• Develop complex Deluge scripts and custom functions for business process automation.
• Automate repetitive manual processes across Sales, Operations, Finance, Support, and other functions.
• Build automated workflows for activities such as:
• Lead and opportunity management
• Partner/dealership onboarding
• Data validation
• Notifications and escalations
• Record creation and updates
• Approval processes
• Business rule validation
• Inter-module and inter-application data movement
• Debug, optimize, and maintain existing Deluge scripts and automations.

3. API & System Integrations

• Develop and maintain integrations between Zoho CRM and external/internal applications.
• Work extensively with REST APIs, webhooks, API authentication, JSON, request/response handling, and data mapping.
• Integrate CRM with internal portals, databases, payment systems, insurance systems, and other business applications.
• Troubleshoot API failures, integration errors, authentication issues, and data synchronization problems.
• Build reliable integrations with proper error handling and logging.

4. Zoho One Ecosystem

• Work across the Zoho One ecosystem and ensure seamless flow of data between applications.
• Hands-on exposure to applications such as:
• Zoho CRM
• Zoho Creator
• Zoho Flow
• Zoho Analytics
• Zoho Desk
• Zoho Projects
• Zoho People
• Zoho Books
• Other relevant Zoho applications
• Identify opportunities to connect different Zoho applications and reduce manual processes.

5. Business Process Automation

• Understand existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and process improvement.
• Convert business requirements into technical solutions within the Zoho ecosystem.
• Work with stakeholders to understand the "why" behind a requirement, rather than simply implementing instructions.
• Recommend improvements where existing processes can be made more efficient or scalable.
• Develop solutions that reduce manual data entry, operational dependency, and repetitive work.

6. CRM Data Management & Reporting

• Manage CRM data structures, data quality, validation, and data integrity.
• Support data migration, bulk updates, data cleansing, and data reconciliation.
• Create and maintain CRM reports, dashboards, and MIS requirements.
• Work with Zoho Analytics for reporting and business intelligence requirements.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of data across integrated systems.

7. Troubleshooting & Technical Support

• Monitor and troubleshoot CRM workflows, Deluge functions, integrations, APIs, and automation failures.
• Investigate root causes of system issues and implement permanent solutions.
• Maintain proper documentation for important automations, integrations, and technical processes.
• Support business teams in resolving CRM-related technical issues.
• Ensure critical automations and integrations remain reliable and operational.

8. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, Sales, Operations, Finance, Support, and Management teams.
• Understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in requirement discussions, solution design, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-deployment support.
• Independently manage assigned CRM development and automation projects from requirement - development - testing - deployment - maintenance.

Required Technical Skills

Must-Have

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Zoho CRM development and customization.
• Strong proficiency in Deluge scripting.
• Strong understanding of Zoho CRM workflows and automation.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Experience working with webhooks, JSON, API authentication, and data mapping.
• Experience with Zoho One applications.
• Strong understanding of CRM architecture, modules, relationships, workflows, and business processes.
• Ability to independently develop, test, debug, deploy, and maintain CRM solutions.
• Good understanding of SQL and databases.
• Basic to good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Zoho Creator development experience.
• Zoho Flow automation experience.

• Experience with Zoho Desk, Zoho Books, Zoho People, or Zoho Projects.
