Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Investment Banking professional specializing in ECM, private equity, and M&A to lead high-impact transactions and own critical client relationships.

You will originate mandates, drive growth with founders and institutional investors, and guide deals from pitchbooks to closure, while mentoring junior bankers and delivering robust financial models.

Qualifications

• 9–12 years of Investment Banking / Private Equity Advisory experience.
• Experience independently leading M&A transactions valued between USD 50 million and USD 500 million.
• Proven track record of executing ECM and PE fund-raising transactions.

Responsibilities

• Originate and execute Equity Capital Markets, Private Equity, and M&A mandates.
• Drive business development by building relationships with founders, promoters, CXOs, institutional investors, PE funds, and strategic investors.
• Lead end-to-end transaction execution from pitchbooks and Information Memorandums to investor outreach, negotiations, due diligence, and deal closure.
• Develop sophisticated financial models and valuation analyses using DCF, Comparable Companies, and Precedent Transactions.
• Advise clients on capital raising, strategic transactions, and investment opportunities.
• Mentor junior bankers while ensuring high-quality execution across multiple live mandates.

About the Role:

We are hiring experienced Investment Banking professionals with expertise in Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Private Equity (PE), and M&A Advisory. This is an opportunity to lead high-impact transactions, own client relationships, and drive business growth.

We're Looking For:

• 9-12 years of Investment Banking / Private Equity Advisory experience.
• Experience independently leading M&A transactions valued between USD 50 million and USD 500 million.
• Proven track record of executing Equity Capital Markets (IPO, QIP, Rights Issue, Preferential Allotment) and Private Equity fund-raising transactions.
• Deep sector expertise in Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT), Consumer, or Energy/Climate.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and transaction execution capabilities.
• MBA (Finance) from a premier institute and/or CA/CFA preferred.
