Job summary

Team Geek Solutions seeks an experienced Oracle Retail XStore POS specialist to design, implement, and optimize XStore solutions across retail environments. You will translate business requirements into scalable technical implementations and deliver enhancements for POS, UI, and integration layers.

You will work on architecture, JET UI customization, and data exchanges with ERP, Inventory, and Omnichannel platforms, while supporting SIT/UAT, deployments, and post-production stabilization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years IT experience with hands-on Oracle Retail XStore POS development.
• Hands-on experience in XStore development, implementation, and customization engagements.
• Expertise in XStore components: XStore Architecture, XStore Office, POSLog, Extension Framework.
• Strong Java, Spring, REST APIs, SOAP Services, XML, JSON, SQL, and Oracle Database skills.
• Experience designing integrations with ERP, Inventory, Pricing, Loyalty, Customer, Payment, and Omnichannel platforms.
• Strong understanding of retail processes including Sales, Returns, Exchanges, Promotions, Loyalty, Inventory, and Store Operations.
• Perform solution design, fit-gap analysis, impact assessment, code reviews, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support.
• Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills for global retail projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform solution design and fit-gap analysis for XStore projects.
• Lead impact assessments, code reviews, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
• Provide SIT/UAT support, deployments, upgrades, migrations, and store rollouts.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across global retail environments to deliver solutions.

• Design and deliver scalable XStore solutions by translating business requirements into functional and technical implementations.
• Hands-on experience in XStore JET UI customization, screen enhancements, dashboards, forms, and user experience improvements.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, REST APIs, SOAP Services, XML, JSON, SQL, and Oracle Database technologies.
• Experience design and developing integrations with ERP, Inventory, Pricing, Loyalty, Customer, Payment, and Omnichannel platforms.
• Strong understanding of retail business processes including Sales, Returns, Exchanges, Promotions, Loyalty, Inventory, and Store Operations.
