Job summary

KLA in Chennai seeks a seasoned Manager for multimedia/XR production to lead a team of production specialists and oversee end-to-end XR initiatives. You will ensure projects align with product goals, manage budgets, and collaborate with marketing, engineering and executives to deliver compelling content.

You will apply strategic vision to drive media programs, leverage AI tools for efficiency, and maintain high standards of quality and accessibility across deliverables.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in multimedia/XR production with 1–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven ability to develop media and marketing strategies, including AI tools for content efficiency.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor a staff of technical production specialists.
• Own end-to-end execution of XR programs from conception to launch.

The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Managerial Roles & Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Direct and mentor a staff of technical production specialists, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional excellence.
• Strategic Project Management: Own the end-to-end execution of XR programs from conception to launch, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and product goals.
• Resource & Budget Oversight: Manage multimedia budgets, allocate hardware/software resources effectively, and handle contracts with external vendors and contractors.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between the media team and stakeholders in marketing, engineering, and executive leadership to align content with broader campaigns.
• Workflow Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to increase production efficiency, such as documenting new production tools or managing digital asset libraries.
• Quality & Brand Assurance: Ensure all multimedia and XR content maintains brand voice, adheres to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG/ADA), and meets strict quality benchmarks before release.
• Capacity Planning: Run regular meetings to manage team capacity, forecast future demand, and identify skill gaps within the department.

Required Leadership Qualifications

• Experience: Typically requires 5+ years in multimedia/XR production with 1-3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strategic Skills: Proven ability to develop media and marketing strategies, including the implementation of AI tools for content efficiency.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills for navigating complex stakeholder relationships and advocating for program needs.
• Technical Vision: Deep knowledge of industry trends (e.g., virtual production, 5G, spatial storytelling) to keep content innovative.

Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field. A master's degree is a plus.
