Job summary

KLA in Chennai is seeking a Corporate Trainer to deliver CLC courses, facilitate development sessions, and coach employees across the organization.

You will design content, update materials, and support LMS with scheduling and reporting, collaborating with HRBPs and managers. The role requires 5–8 years in L&D in tech/manufacturing, strong English, and willingness to travel to different KLA offices.

Job Description / Preferred Qualifications

At KLA Corporate Trainers deliver high quality learning experiences for employees and managers across the organisation. This role includes facilitating Corporate Learning Center (CLC) courses (virtual and in person), supporting team development sessions, providing 1:1 coaching, and contributing to instructional design and content development. Ideal candidates are passionate about developing people, strong communicators, and motivated to grow in the area of Learning & Development.

Key Responsibilities

Course Delivery

• Deliver CLC curriculum across professional, management, and team development programs in virtual or in person settings, following CLC instructional standards.
• Create a learner‑centered, engaging environment through discussion, practice, and clear facilitation.

Team Development Facilitation

• Facilitate team development workshops on a variety of topics (for example: team communication, interfaces management, team goals and strategies etc.)

One‑on‑One Coaching

• Provide coaching on communication, team dynamics, and related topics.
• Support learners in applying course concepts to real workplace situations.

Instructional Design & Content Development

• Contribute to course material updates: slides, exercises, guides, and facilitator notes.
• Contribute to digital learning resources.
• Participate in ongoing curriculum improvements.

Operational & Learning Support

• Support course and offering setup in Workday Learning (LMS) (scheduling, roster management, pre and post‑class communications).
• Partner with Workday Learning teams to ensure accurate attendance and reporting.
• Partner with managers and HRBPs to understand needs and recommend appropriate solutions.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in Learning and Development role (Instruction, Facilitation, Coaching, Instructional Design) in Semiconductor/Manufacturing Organization
• Experience working with highly technical and skilled audiences as well as senior management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Be a confident facilitator with strong presentation and interpersonal skills that creates a safe learning environment for their students.
• Ability to build rapport and engage diverse audiences.
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to work in fast paced multicultural environments, ability to connect and communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds
• Growth mindset and willingness to develop in the world of Learning and Development
• Willingness to travel to different KLA offices per demand.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in HR, Psychology, Communication, Education, Organisational Development (or related subject) or hold equivalent level of experience OR Engineering or other technical degrees with relevant experience
• Proven experience in niche engineering, hiring, scale‑up environments, and leadership stakeholder management.
• 5-8 years relevant experience in Semiconductor, IT Software & Services, Medical Devices, or Product Engineering/R&D environments.
