Position Summary

As an XR Designer at realworld one, you will play an important role in building a new category around one of the largest unmet opportunities in industrial enterprises: execution performance.
While organizations invest billions in systems that manage quality, operations, service, and business performance, no system today is designed to measure, improve, and manage execution itself. Based in our Bangalore office and reporting to the Director of Design, you will design and refine high-quality XR solutions and experiences for leading Life Sciences organizations. The role combines strong experience design with ownership through implementation, working closely with Solution Delivery and Engineering to turn complex workflows into intuitive, feasible immersive experiences. Client-facing responsibility will grow over time as you develop towards greater project ownership.
We are hiring two designers across Junior and Mid-Level. We are looking for ambitious, ownership-driven designers with strong design judgment, high quality standards, and the drive to continuously improve their work and take on increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Understand users, workflows, objectives, and constraints based on client information, project materials, and internal discussions, and identify relevant open questions.
• Translate these insights into clear experience structures and contribute to Project Outlines, experience flows, and design directions with senior designers.
• Design engaging XR experiences, including experience flows, interactions, user guidance, and spatial layouts.
• Collaborate closely with Solution Delivery and Engineering to refine designs and develop experiences hands-on in Unreal Engine.
• Test experiences directly in VR, prioritize design issues, develop improvements, and verify them against our design and quality standards.
• Use AI-assisted workflows for ideation, prototyping, documentation, and design iteration while critically validating outputs.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant design experience, including professional XR, VR, or AR work, ideally in a leading design agency, innovation studio, experience design consultancy, or high-performance product environment.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating experience and interaction design, spatial UX, clear design decisions, and iteration through testing and feedback.
• Proficiency in Figma and practical familiarity with Unreal Engine.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain design decisions and respond constructively to feedback.
• Practical experience using AI tools for ideation, prototyping, and documentation.
