Job description

The Cyber‑Security Services Offering Development Manager will be responsible for creating cybersecurity offerings to help customers secure their digital workplace environment.

This role will work with our security, software, and services teams to create and integrate new security offers into the services portfolio by driving standalone offers (professional and managed services) or integrating into our solutions. The team is also responsible for the creation of comprehensive marketing requirements documents, interacting with geographies, guiding the creation of marketing messaging, positioning security service offerings, and planning, launching, and driving offerings in global markets.

The candidate should have prior services offering development experience in the security domain. An ideal candidate will have:

1. a deep understanding of Digital and Cyber Security Technologies, including how AI and other emerging technologies are defining the cybersecurity landscape
2. a global systems integrator (GSI) background
3. experience working with alliance and channel partners

Success will require the ability to influence and maintain open communication with all areas of the company, including worldwide business units, geo/country sales, marketing teams, pre‑sales, and delivery teams. This person must be able to manage complexity, think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Individuals will have the opportunity to work with a variety of key security alliance partners and influence WW stakeholders, to drive key innovative and transformational offerings to our customers.

Position Requirements

• Enhance the security services strategy and create innovative security offerings that excel expectations from customers.
• Provide technology leadership and guidance for our offerings, with a primary focus on the emerging cyber security landscape.
• Work closely with other development leaders within Lenovo to align strategies and ensure a cohesive product portfolio.
• Work closely with geographies and other services organizations worldwide to understand priorities & turn them into plans for creating compelling professional and managed security offerings.
• Strategically drive the portfolio and deal engagement to grow the business.
• Conduct competitive analysis to determine pricing strategy and product features that will be included in the offering, including key processes and resources.
• Maintain and analyze potential alliance and service partner relationships and develop long‑term strategic requirements to support assigned services and solutions.
• Provide input to marketing staff to ensure they can generate high quality sales aids such as product guides, press releases and web content.
• Develop and maintain deep technical expertise in Digital and Cyber Security, including but not limited to Identity, access & trust management, visibility & risk management, compliance management, cyber detection and response, cloud security, endpoint protection & SIEM.
• Partner with pre‑sales and sales to shape proposals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of IT security technology offering development, or similar experience, preferably from a GSI
• 5+ years’ experience in designing and delivering solutions that leverage cyber security technologies.
• Deep understanding of IT outsourcing services, technology industry, digital and cyber security technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Collaborative approach to meeting business objectives and ability to influence at all levels of matrixed organizations.
• Experience working with global teams and conducting business internationally, supporting different time zones.
• Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) are a plus.
