Job summary

S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking an analytical data operations professional to support data maintenance, reporting, and business analysis for structured finance obligations. The role interacts with portfolio managers, custodians, and banks, and requires strong PC skills and attention to detail.

You will manage daily BAU activities, communicate changes to global partners, and implement process improvements in-house to deliver accurate client data and timely settlements.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of relevant finance, data maintenance, or operations experience.
  • Business/Finance/Accounting degree preferred.
  • Strong MS Office skills; highly organized and analytical.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality control for data processed within WSO environments.
  • Process trade settlements and related changes (new borrowings, increases, rollovers, pay downs, etc.).
  • Handle daily activity for all asset types (Loans, Bonds, ABS, Equities, CDS).
  • Review system reports to monitor facilities and resolve discrepancies.
  • Respond to requests from departments/clients within an hour; complete special projects.
  • Collaborate with global partners to implement process changes in-house.

The Impact:

S&P Global has an opening for an analytical and detail-oriented individual to handle data maintenance, support, training, reporting, and business analysis activities for clients' Structured Finance Obligations, including CLOs, CBOs, and Swaps. The position offers exposure to external industry entities such as portfolio managers, custodians, and agent banks. Candidate should display strong financial adaptability, PC skills, and expect full accountabilities for all assigned projects.

What's in it for y ou:

An individual will be aligned with in our f inance o perations vertical and will be responsible to manage daily BAU, conducting analysis and reconciling client transactions. You will be communicating with global business partners to understand changes in process and implementing process changes in-house.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality control for data processed within the WSO environments.
  • Process trade settlement in WSO Admin as well as new borrowings, increases, rollovers, pay downs, commitment reductions, etc. maintain current accuracy standards based on the information provided by client.
  • Responsible for accurately processing daily activity, new deal closings, restructures, and amendments for all asset types (Loans, Bonds, ABS, Equities, CDS) by reviewing source documentation and faxes from agent banks .
  • Process interest, commitment fees and investigate discrepancies when necessary .
  • Review system generated reports to ensure proper monitoring of the facilities and handle exception s items .
  • Interact with appropriate individuals/entities to gather all pertinent information/details to reflect date accurately in the system .
  • Handle requests from different departments/clients within an hour turn around. Complete special projects as assigned .
  • Creativity to go beyond current tools to deliver the best solution to the problem, ability and comfort with working independently and making key decisions on projects and business critical activities.
What We're Looking For:
  • At least two years of relevant, industry experience.
  • Business/Finance/Accounting strongly recommended
  • Strong Computer skills - Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong work ethic - organized, detail oriented, analytical, task driven
  • Night Shift (US Hours)
