Job summary

T-Systems ICT India Pvt Ltd in Pune seeks an experienced Automation Lead to drive SAP and cross-ERP automation initiatives. You will architect and implement automated test solutions, collaborate with global teams, and guide stakeholders through digital transformation.

The role requires 5+ years with Worksoft Certify or similar tools, strong SAP knowledge (FI/CO/MM/SD), and experience in Agile delivery. You’ll mentor teams and contribute to the Automation CoE while delivering value to customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Worksoft Certify or similar automation tools.

• Experience in Test Automation, Functional Testing, End-to-End BP Testing, and Regression Testing.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

• Drive digitalization and automation initiatives across SAP and non-SAP business applications.
• Analyze customer requirements and identify opportunities for business process automation and optimization.
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test solutions using Worksoft Certify and related automation tools.
• Lead automation assessments, proof of concepts (POCs), and solution evaluations to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP business processes, including FI, CO, MM, and SD modules.
• Support test management activities including test planning, test strategy, test case design, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, process owners, project teams, and customers to define automation roadmaps and deliver business value.
• Ensure compliance with automation standards, best practices, governance, and quality assurance processes.
• Contribute to the evolution of the Automation Centre of Excellence (CoE) by evaluating new tools, technologies, and automation frameworks.
• Perform root cause analysis, defect triage, and escalation management for critical business applications.
• Provide management-level reporting, recommendations, and decision-making inputs related to automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Work closely with global teams and customers in a multinational environment.
• Support implementation of digital transformation strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Worksoft Certify or similar enterprise automation tools.
• Strong expertise in SAP Testing and SAP business processes across FI, CO, MM, or SD modules.
• Experience in Test Automation, Functional Testing, End‑to‑End Business Process Testing, and Regression Testing.
• Strong understanding of Digital Transformation and Business Process Automation initiatives.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager, JIRA, HP ALM, or similar test management tools.
• Knowledge of SQL, data validation, and reporting concepts.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Experience leading projects, mentoring teams, or working in a Test Lead/Automation Lead capacity.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience working with international customers and distributed global teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
