Job summary

Lonza is seeking a Workday Specialist - Technical in Hyderabad to build and maintain Workday integrations and Extend applications. You will work with Core Connectors, EIBs, Studio, and Orchestrate to deliver reliable integrations, automated tests, and robust documentation.

You will ensure integration health, adhere to SLAs and governance, and collaborate with APAC/EMEA teams while advancing HR automation and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Workday integration development experience with Core Connectors and EIBs at minimum; Workday Studio experience preferred.
• Experience as an integration builder, not only monitoring or production support.
• Good understanding of Workday web services (SOAP/REST), XSLT, and integration debugging.
• Experience building and maintaining integrations to defined technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of integration testing and controlled release processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot integration failures and maintain reliable integration performance.
• Strong written communication and technical documentation skills.
• Comfortable working within SLAs, technical standards, and release governance in a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Support HR automation and AI initiatives through technical build and configuration activities.
• Maintain integration catalogues, technical documentation, and runbooks.
• Work within defined technical standards, release governance, and SLAs.
• Coordinate technical handovers across APAC and EMEA teams.

Location: Hyderabad, India

Join Lonza’s Digital HR team as a Workday Specialist - Technical , supporting our Hyderabad delivery capability. This is a hands‑on technical role focused on building, maintaining, and supporting Workday integrations, Extend applications, and automation solutions.

You will work closely with technical leads to deliver integrations and technical solutions to agreed specifications, while ensuring reliability, testing quality, and effective documentation.
