Job summary

EDGE Executive Search in Pune seeks an experienced Workday Integration Consultant to design, develop, and support integrations across the Workday HR platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and REST/SOAP APIs, and a solid understanding of HR business processes.

You will collaborate with functional teams and downstream systems, build and test integrations, and contribute to production support, security, and performance improvements

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integrations using: Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB (Inbound & Outbound), Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST), PICOF / PECI.
• Support end-to-end integration lifecycle, including requirements gathering, technical design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, data discrepancies, security issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Partner with functional Workday teams (HCM, Talent, Comp, Absence, Payroll, Time) to ensure alignment of integration solutions with business needs.
• Develop and maintain technical design documents, sequence diagrams, test scripts, and support materials.
• Work with 3rdparty vendors and internal IT teams to ensure smooth data exchange with downstream systems (e.g., payroll, identity management, benefits, finance, CRM).
• Support Workday releases by assessing impacts on existing integrations and implementing necessary updates.
• Follow best practices for integration design, error handling, logging, and security.
• Engage in production support and incident resolution as part of a global support.
