Job summary

Hexaware Technologies is seeking a seasoned Workday Financials consultant to provide post-production support, enhancements, and SME guidance across modules. You will document requirements, map processes, and implement best-practice configurations while managing client relationships and delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of core Workday competencies (business process, reporting, security) and deep expertise in one or more Workday Financials areas.
• 7+ years of recent Workday experience implementing/supporting Workday Financials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to build client relationships.
• Passionate about knowledge sharing and mentoring other consultants.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-production support and enhancement services in Workday Financials and act as subject matter expert for team members and clients.
• Participate in advisory, planning and implementation of additional Workday Financial modules by documenting requirements and configuring best-practice setups.
• Manage client relationships and resolve support requests ranging from operational issues to release planning and roadmaps.
• Lead sessions with clients and team members to analyze and scope complex business requirements.
• Collaborate with Delivery team on day-to-day activities, incidents and root cause analysis.
• Provide Workday best practices and ensure high-quality deliverables and proactive client recommendations.

Provide post-production support and enhancement services in multiple areas of Workday Financials and serve as the subject matter expert to assist fellow team members and clients

Participate in advisory, planning and implementation of additional Workday Financial modules by documenting requirements, mapping processes, and implementing best-practice configuration

Manage client relationships and resolves client support requests varying from operational support issue resolution, phase x implementations and enhancement projects, release planning, to strategic road mapping services

Lead sessions with clients and team members to analyze and scope complex business requirements

Should collaboratively work with Delivery team on day to day activities, incidents, root cause analysis and other work requests

Prioritize and delegate requests and tasks by level of urgency, scope, complexity, and team availability

Provide guidance to and collaborate with team members to research and resolve complex client requests

Provide Workday best practices and ensure high quality deliverables

Communicate effectively with clients by providing subject matter expertise on Workday best practices and recommendations

Prioritize client’s interest and proactively listen to ensure that work exceeds their expectations

Actively foster internal relationships, share knowledge, and mentor other consultants, and contribute as a leader to grow our practice

Take initiative to perform or delegate other related duties as needs are discovered, including internal projects

Looking for

• Strong understanding of core Workday competencies (business process, reporting, security) and deep expertise in one (or multiple!) Workday Financials functional areas
• Experience implementing/supporting Workday modules related to Accounting, Banking & Settlements, Budgets, Expenses, Projects and Cash Management preferred
• 7+ years of recent Workday experience implementing/Supporting Workday Financials
• Strong experience within Workday Financials deployments and operational support projects
• Ability to build and develop strong client relationships
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passionate about knowledge sharing
• Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
