We seek a Workday Data Consultant focused on data migration, conversion, and validation for HCM, Payroll, and Financials. The role is remote within India with flexible hours aligned to IST.

Qualifications

• Workday HCM, FIN, or Payroll Certification is required.
• 1+ years experience with Workday data conversion, data analysis, or ETL.
• Experience handling data loads for Workday HCM, Financials, or Payroll.
• Solid understanding of building, populating, and uploading Workday inbound EIBs.
• Fluent in English; strong communication and collaboration skills.

India (Remote) Full-Time Employee Hours: 12:30 PM - 9:30 PM IST (2 AM- 10 AM CT)

TopBloc is a Workday boutique partner firm that provides fixed-time, fixed-price Workday deployment services and on‑demand Workday support. Using our internal proprietary tool we are able to quickly implement Workday Human Capital Management, Payroll, and Financials business processes and technology, letting our customers focus on their business while they gain immediate value. Once live, we also provide expertise and resources as needed to support the customer’s individual Workday solution. Requirements (What We’re Looking For):

• Workday HCM, FIN, or Payroll Certification (Required)
• 1+ years experience working with Workday data conversion, data analysis, or ETL processes (Required)
• Practical experience handling data loads for Workday HCM, Financials or Payroll (Required)
• Solid understanding of how to build, populate, and upload Workday inbound EIBs. (Required)
• Fluent in English (Required)
• Passion for exceptional customer service and customer collaboration
• Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with clients and co-workers in a positive manner that engenders confidence and trust
• Good problem solver with ability to consider alternative and diverse perspectives customer expectations
• Recommended internet bandwidth of 20Mbps

Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):

• Prepare, format, and load data into Workday using standard migration tools, including EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builders) and iLoads.
• Work with project leads and client templates to map legacy source data into Workday data collection workbooks.
• Run validation cycles to identify, investigate, and fix data load errors, formatting issues, and reconciliation discrepancies.
• Assist in generating data reconciliation reports to prove data accuracy to the client and project team before go‑live.
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants (HCM, Payroll, and Financials) to ensure data is aligned with the configured tenant settings.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
