Huron Consulting Group Inc. in India seeks an experienced Manager in FP&A and Workday Adaptive Planning to lead client engagements and delivery excellence.

The role focuses on leveraging finance domain expertise to design, build and deliver Adaptive Planning solutions that enable clients to plan, forecast, and perform with agility. The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years in FP&A, hands-on Adaptive Planning experience, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years proven success in roles implementing Workday Adaptive Planning or Adaptive Insights.
• 7-10 years’ experience in analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, conducting tests and interfacing with users.
• Master’s degree in finance or accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Workday Adaptive Planning projects for clients.
• Analyze requirements, design functional specs, test and troubleshoot.
• Provide strategic finance insights and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Mentor junior staff and support pre-sales activities.

We are seeking an experienced FP&A and Workday Adaptive Planning professional to join our team as a Manager. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of experience in Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and enterprise performance management, along with hands‑on expertise in Workday Adaptive Planning. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of finance business processes, planning and forecasting cycles, budgeting, management reporting, and organizational performance management requirements. They should be able to leverage their finance domain expertise to provide strategic insights and deliver effective Adaptive planning solutions to clients. This role is well‑suited for professionals looking to transition into or further develop their career in the consulting domain. The candidate should demonstrate a willingness to learn, adapt, and apply their prior finance experience to solve complex business challenges, support client engagements, and drive successful Workday Adaptive Planning implementations. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years proven prior success in roles directly implementing Workday Adaptive Planning or Legacy Adaptive Insights.
• 7-10 years’ experience in analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues and interfacing with business users.
• Huron requires a master’s degree in finance or accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferences

• Holds active Workday Certification (Adaptive or Financials preferred)
• May consider candidates with prior experience implementing Cognos, Anaplan, or Oracle EPM, TM1 solutions
• Experience leading medium to large scale Adaptive Planning (or similar) implementation projects.
• Experience with design, configuration and development of Adaptive planning solutions.
• Experience with Adaptive integration.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel.
• Extensive knowledge FP&A processes and activities.
• Prior team management experience, experience managing people (mentoring, delegating, reviewing work, and coaching staff)
• Experience in pre-sales activities, proposal development, presentations, and Demo's
• Willingness to attend and present at orals
• Strong understanding of financial processes, principles, and best practices.
• Project management experience is a plus.
