Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Work Placement & Migration Specialist for the Global Shared Services Centre. The role focuses on strategically managing placement and migration of work across GSC locations, aligning with service delivery models, efficiency, and standard compliance.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, lead migrations from the service catalogue, and drive planning, reporting, and governance to reduce fragmentation and enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large transition projects (150 FTE or more)
• 3-5 years in Transition Management, Migrations & Project Management
• Strong project management skills for complex, dynamic transitions
• Prince2 Practitioner / PMP certification mandatory; Lean Six Sigma preferred
• Experience in global business environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and teamwork
• Comfort with senior management discussions
• Strong English communication and presentation skills
• MS Office Suite expertise (Excel, PowerPoint)

The Work Placement & Migration Specialist is responsible for strategically managing the placement and migration of work across Global Shared Services Centre (GSC) locations, ensuring alignment with service delivery models, operational efficiency, and compliance with established principles and standards

Key responsibilities -

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to monitor and report compliance with work placement standards and decisions.


• Lead the migration of work based on the service catalogue, maintaining consistency, recording exceptions, and reducing fragmentation.


• Make informed decisions on work placement within the GSC, balancing strategic priorities, capabilities, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualification, Experience & Skills

• Experience in leading Large Transition Projects (150 FTE or more)


• 3-5 years relevant experience in in Transition Management, Migrations & Project Management


• Strong project management skills and experience in managing complex and dynamic Transition projects


• Certified Prince2 Practitioner/ PMP is a must. Additional LEAN Six Sigma is preferred


• Experience working in a global business environment


• Excellent in stakeholder management & a good team player


• Comfortable when dealing with senior management and being part of tough discussions


• Passionate about driving customer experience and client centricity


• Excellent command of spoken and written English and communication skills


• Excellent Presentation skills and overall expertise in MS Office Suite – especially MS Excel and Power point
