Qualifications

• Experience with wireless LAN products such as Access Points and Routers.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies including functional and performance testing.
• Ability to create test plans and design test environments.

Responsibilities

• Validate Wireless LAN products including Wi-Fi Access Points.
• Conduct various types of testing such as Conformance and Performance.
• Set up test beds for WLAN products and perform log analysis.
• Report bugs and work with developers for debugging.

Job description

• Being part of the Connectivity WLAN test team, you will involve in validation of Wireless LAN products (Wi-Fi - Access Point/AP Router/ Station Cards).
• Scope includes Log analysis and various kinds of testing like Conformance, Functional, Sanity, Performance, Stress & Stability.
• WLAN STA/AP Testing with 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac standards
• Release testing of WLAN solutions (automated and manual) and Log Analysis.
• Setting up test beds and other required provision for testing of AP products.
• Expertise on Test plan creation, test bed design and implementation, familiarity with preparing functional and system test plans.
• Bug reporting and follow up activities to resolve the bugs.
• Work with the development team for debugging and recreating the bugs.
