Job summary

Accendra Health, Inc. is seeking a Windows/VMware System Administrator to join our IT operations. You will manage VMware vSphere environments, Windows Server platforms, and core services like AD, DNS, and DHCP, while coordinating with technical teams to resolve complex issues.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong scripting and documentation skills, and the ability to respond quickly in critical situations. 24x7 on-call readiness is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Windows/VMware system administration experience.
• Experience deploying and maintaining golden OS images.
• Proactive monitoring and alerting to ensure uptime.
• Strong OS, virtualization and hardware troubleshooting skills.
• Solid networking knowledge and ability to document procedures.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work 24x7 shifts when required.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience for VMware vSphere Suite, versions 6.5 and up.
• Hands-on experience for Windows Server versions 2012 and up.
• Plan, deployment, installation, and upgrades of OS and applications.
• Integration with enterprise administration of AD, DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP.
• Coordinate with internal/external personnel to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain detailed system documentation and procedures.
• Support patch management and troubleshooting tasks.
