Job summary

NTT DATA in Bengaluru, India seeks a Windows Infrastructure Engineer to plan, deploy and upgrade software and hardware. You will coordinate deployments, troubleshoot issues, and maintain stakeholder relationships while leveraging VMware, ESX hosts, and related tooling to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or International equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline - Preferred
• Prior Knowledge of Windows Operating System, Linux Operating System, VMware, ESX hosts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• 3-5 years of Experience - plans, organizes, coordinates, and tracks activities to develop, deploy, and upgrade software and hardware
• Capacity Changes - Reconfigures Virtual machines/Servers for capacity – Vmotion, change CPU/Memory/Disk allocations.
• Strong working knowledge of virtual infrastructure, x86 hardware, MS Clustering, ESX hosts
• Knowledge of Service Now event, incident and problem management tool procedures, practices and processes
• Excellent communications skills (verbal, written) to collaborate with peer teams and customers on Projects

He/She troubleshoots project issues to maintain schedules utilizing established processes and procedures and makes recommendations for preventing recurrences. This position coordinates deployments and implementations and facilitates activities to ensure programs and projects are implemented successfully and meet established deadlines.
