Job summary

Diverse Lynx is seeking a Windows AWS Admin to join our dynamic team and optimize Windows-based systems in the AWS cloud. The role focuses on deploying, configuring, and managing AWS resources to meet business needs.

You'll administer Windows Server environments, manage Active Directory, enforce security policies, and drive automation with PowerShell and AWS CLI, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Windows administration within AWS environments.
• Proficient with AWS services and security best practices.
• Experience with Active Directory and user management.
• Scripting skills with PowerShell and AWS CLI.

Responsibilities

• AWS Infrastructure Management: Deploy, configure, and manage Windows-based systems in the AWS cloud. Implement and optimize AWS services to meet organizational requirements.
• Windows Server Administration: Administer and maintain Windows Server operating systems within the AWS environment. Manage Active Directory, user accounts, and security policies.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices to ensure data integrity and confidentiality in AWS. Monitor and address vulnerabilities, apply patches and updates.
• AWS Resource Optimization: Optimize AWS resources for cost-effectiveness and performance. Implement auto-scaling and load balancing configurations.
• Backup and Recovery: Design and implement backup and recovery strategies for Windows systems in AWS. Conduct regular backups and recovery tests to ensure data integrity.
• Scripting and Automation: Develop scripts for automation in the AWS environment (PowerShell, AWS CLI, etc). Streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between Windows systems and other cloud services. Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of AWS configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps; contribute to knowledge base.
