Job summary

FIS in Pune is seeking an experienced Windows Application Production Support engineer to provide L2/L3 support for Front Arena. You will work in a 24x7 environment, monitoring health, triaging incidents, and coordinating deployments across production and UAT.

Strong scripting and ITIL practices are valuable. The role requires 5–8 years in production support, solid Windows/Linux knowledge, and a deep understanding of Front Arena architecture and related infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in Windows Application Production Support or Enterprise Application Support environments.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Good understanding of Front Arena architecture, application components, services, interfaces, and supporting infrastructure.
• Experience with Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management, ITIL-based environment.

• Provide L2/L3 production support for FIS Front Arena and related applications and services.
• Monitor application health, Front Arena services, interfaces, and scheduled jobs.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents using logs and monitoring tools.
• Lead incidents through investigation, resolution, stakeholder communication, and RCA.
• Coordinate Front Arena deployments, upgrades, patches, and infrastructure activities across UAT and Production.
• Collaborate with database, Windows/Linux, network, security, and infra teams for cross‑platform issues.
• Support SSO/IDP, certificates, service accounts, connectivity, and access issues.

About The Team

The Front Arena Production Support team provides critical application and operational support for the FIS Front Arena platform and its supporting infrastructure. The team works closely with business users, infrastructure, database, network, security, development, CX and other technology teams to maintain platform stability and availability across production and non-production environments.

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide L2/L3 production support for FIS Front Arena and associated applications and services
• Monitor application health, Front Arena services, interfaces, scheduled jobs, and infrastructure components
• Investigate and resolve production incidents using application logs, operating-system logs, SQL/database information, and monitoring tools

• Lead incidents through investigation, resolution, stakeholder communication, and root cause analysis
• Coordinate Front Arena deployments, upgrades, patches, configuration changes, and infrastructure activities across UAT and Production
• Coordinate with database, Windows/Linux, network, security, identity, and infrastructure teams for cross-platform issues
• Support SSO/IDP, certificates, service accounts, connectivity, and access-related issues affecting Front Arena
• Prepare and execute implementation plans, validation steps, and rollback procedures through established change-management processes
• Participate in major incident calls and coordinate technical teams until service restoration
• Perform RCA for recurring and high-impact incidents and drive corrective and preventive actions
• Maintain operational documentation, support procedures, troubleshooting guides, and technical runbooks
• Identify opportunities for automation, proactive monitoring, and reduction of recurring operational issues

What You Bring

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Windows Application Production Support or Enterprise Application Support environments
• Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux server environments
• Good understanding of Front Arena architecture, application components, services, interfaces, and supporting infrastructure
• Strong production troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Understanding of networking, application connectivity, certificates, Active Directory, SSO/IDP, service accounts, and authentication
• Experience with Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management, preferably within an ITIL-based environment
• Experience supporting production deployments, application upgrades, infrastructure changes, and environment migrations
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and translate technical findings into clear corrective actions.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across business, application, infrastructure, security teams.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of production issues, prioritize multiple activities, and operate effectively within a global support environment
• Flexibility to work in a 24x7 shift environment and participate in on-call support rotations
