Job summary

ALTRAIZE is seeking a skilled Windows/Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to manage AD DS, DNS/DHCP, SCCM/WSUS, and Azure services in Bengaluru. You will optimize M365 licensing, implement hybrid identity, and automate tasks with PowerShell while maintaining security and ITIL-aligned processes.

The role emphasizes proactive monitoring, incident response, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to sustain high availability and DR capabilities in a complex hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Windows AD DS knowledge including Forest/Domain Trusts, replication, GPO design & troubleshooting
• DNS and DHCP configuration including conditional forwarding and zones
• Windows Server patching with SCCM/ConfigMgr and WSUS for patch compliance
• M365 administration including Exchange Online, Teams, Entra ID and hybrid identity
• Azure administration covering VMs, networking, storage, security and backup
• PowerShell scripting for automation and orchestration
• Monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, SCOM, Prometheus
• ITIL v4 processes and service management frameworks
• Cloud migration, DevOps, and IaC exposure preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows AD DS environments, including user/group/computer object administration, GPO implementation, and troubleshooting AD replication, FSMO roles, and forest/domain functional levels
• Configure and support DNS and DHCP services to ensure reliable network connectivity and name resolution
• Plan, test, and deploy Windows Server updates using SCCM/ConfigMgr and WSUS, ensuring patch compliance and OS lifecycle management
• Administer M365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Entra ID, including licensing optimization and hybrid identity
• Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure including VMs, VNets, Load Balancers, Storage, Azure Backup, and Entra ID
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Azure Automation, Runbooks, and DevOps CI/CD pipelines for IaC
• Monitor system health using Azure Monitor, SCOM, Prometheus, etc., and ensure high availability and DR readiness
• Follow ITIL v4 practices for incident, problem, change enablement, and service request fulfillment
• Collaborate with Security, Network, DevOps, End-User Computing and vendors to resolve hybrid infra, cloud migration, and identity governance challenges
• Document configurations, runbooks, architecture diagrams, and system changes using Confluence/SharePoint/ServiceNow

Job description

Role Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows Active Directory (AD DS) environments, including user/group/computer object administration, Group Policy Object (GPO) implementation, and troubleshooting AD replication, FSMO roles, and forest/domain functional levels.
• Configure and support DNS (public/private zones, records, conditional forwarding) and DHCP (scope management, reservations, options) services to ensure reliable network connectivity, name resolution, and TCP/IP infrastructure stability.
• Plan, test, and deploy Windows Server updates using System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM/ConfigMgr) and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), ensuring patch compliance, security hardening, and OS lifecycle management.
• Administer Microsoft 365 (M365) services—including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)—including user provisioning, licensing optimization, mailbox management, hybrid identity, and troubleshooting authentication & access issues.
• Design, implement, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including Virtual Machines (IaaS), Azure Virtual Networks (VNet), Load Balancers, Storage Accounts, Azure Backup, and identity management via Entra ID.
• Automate routine tasks and operational workflows using PowerShell scripting, Azure Automation, Runbooks, and DevOps CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency, reduce manual errors, and support Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Monitor system health and performance using Azure Monitor, System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Prometheus/Grafana, or third-party tools, and proactively resolve issues to ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) readiness.
• Follow ITIL v4 best practices for incident management, problem management, change enablement, and service request fulfillment to ensure service delivery aligns with business continuity and SLA requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Network, DevOps, End-User Computing) and external vendors to resolve complex hybrid infrastructure, cloud migration, and identity governance challenges.
• Document configurations, runbooks, architecture diagrams, and system changes using Confluence, SharePoint, or ServiceNow to support knowledge sharing, audit readiness, and operational continuity.
