Job summary

Vrinda International is seeking an experienced Windchill Functional Consultant and Business Analyst in India. You will bridge business needs with technical Windchill capabilities, drive process improvements, and ensure data integrity across PLM integrations.

The role requires 8–10 years in IT services, strong BRD/FRD and RTM skills, and hands-on Windchill module experience (PDM Link, Project Link, SUMA, MPMLink). Excellent stakeholder communication is essential.

Qualifications

Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Windchill Functional Consultant and Business Analyst within the IT Services sector. This pivotal role is designed for an individual with 8 to 10 years of specialized experience who will bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business needs. The successful candidate will leverage deep expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems to drive process efficiency, ensure rigorous quality standards, and facilitate seamless collaboration across project teams. This position is critical for optimizing data integrity, managing complex change workflows, and delivering high-quality software solutions that align with strategic organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition, analysis, and documentation of business requirements, including the creation of comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
• Design and maintain detailed Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM) to ensure full alignment between user needs and system functionality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop, execute, and oversee test plans and strategies, utilizing tools like JIRA X-Ray or qTest to manage test cases and ensure thorough coverage.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, manage defect tracking processes, and facilitate resolution of issues to guarantee system readiness.
• Manage change control and release management procedures, ensuring all modifications to the Windchill environment are properly authorized, documented, and deployed.
• Serve as the primary liaison for stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and gathering feedback to refine system configurations and processes.
• Maintain and optimize integration points and data flows within the Windchill ecosystem, including PDM Link, Project Link, SUMA, and MPMLink.
• Provide expert guidance on database concepts and their application within the PLM context to support data accuracy and reporting needs.
• Apply Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies to manage project workflows and deliverables effectively using JIRA.

Requirements

• Possess 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience in IT Services, with a specific focus on Windchill implementation and functional consulting.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in requirement management tools, including the creation of BRDs, FRDs, and Requirement Traceability Matrices.
• Show strong command of testing frameworks and tools such as JIRA, JIRA X-Ray, and qTest for planning, execution, and defect management.
• Have a solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including experience with Kanban boards for workflow visualization.
• Exhibit deep knowledge of database concepts and their practical application in PLM systems.
• Possess hands- on experience with Windchill modules and integrations, specifically PDM Link, Project Link, SUMA, and MPMLink.
• Display proven expertise in Change Management and Release Management processes within a complex IT environment.
• Highlight exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of translating technical details for non-technical audiences.
• Hold a competitive salary expectation within the range of ₹20 - 28 LPA, commensurate with the required experience and skill set.
