Job summary

Nordic Semiconductor seeks an experienced Wi‑Fi System Test Engineer to drive testing across WLAN technologies, including 802.11 standards and security features. You will build test beds, analyze results with Wireshark/tcpdump, and contribute to automation using Python and shell scripts. The role requires collaboration in Agile teams and clear reporting of findings.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in the Wi‑Fi domain.
• Solid knowledge of WLAN protocols and standards: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be.
• Deep understanding of security and QoS features: WPA/WPA2/WPA3, WPS, WMM, u-APSD, 802.1x.
• Proficiency in Python, C, and shell scripting.
• Experience in creating detailed test plans and analyzing test reports.
• Ability to design and deploy test beds from standards documentation.
• Hands-on experience with network analyzers for debugging and root cause analysis.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
