Job summary

Indian Inovatix Limited invites applications for a Welding & Grinding Operator at Dantali GIDC Vadsar, Ahmedabad.

You will perform MIG, ARC (SMAW), and TIG welding, grind and finish joints, read engineering drawings, and inspect parts for quality.

ITI Welder/Fitter or diploma is required; 1–3 years’ experience preferred, freshers with relevant training considered.

Qualifications

Job Summary

The Welding & Grinding Operator is responsible for performing welding, grinding, and finishing operations on metal components according to engineering drawings, quality standards, and production schedules. The role requires safe operation of welding and grinding equipment while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

• Perform MIG, ARC (SMAW), and/or TIG welding as per job requirements.
• Grind, smooth, and finish welded joints to meet quality standards.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Inspect welded parts for defects and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Operate welding machines, angle grinders, and other fabrication tools safely Maintain welding equipment and perform basic daily maintenance.
• Follow production schedules and complete assigned work on time.
• Ensure compliance with company quality and safety procedures.
• Wear and properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S).
• Report equipment issues, safety hazards, or quality concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with other fabrication and production tasks as assigned.

Salary Range

₹18,000.00 – ₹28,000.00 per month
