Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an experienced Welding Engineer to design and optimize welding procedures for new products. You will select techniques, equipment, and consumables, and lead a capable welding team across shifts.

You will inspect welds, investigate defects, and coordinate NDT/metallurgical evaluations while ensuring compliance with AWS, ASME and ISO standards. Strong communication and training of welders are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• AWS CWE or IWE certification with strong proficiency in welding processes.
• NDT Level II certifications in RT, PT, and UT methods.

• Stay updated on welding tech advancements and recommend upgrades.
