Job summary

Alliance Recruitment Agency is seeking a Welding Inspector/Engineer to lead welding quality across CS and alloy steel components. You will apply metallurgy expertise, interpret complex drawings, and ensure adherence to international standards.

The role includes performing NDT, developing welding procedures, mentoring staff, and maintaining thorough records of inspections and certifications.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field.
• Minimum years of welding and inspection experience in CS and alloy steels.
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent.
• NDT Level II/III in relevant methods preferred.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and oversee welding processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications.
• Conduct detailed welding inspections for CS and alloy steels to ensure compliance with technical requirements.
• Apply advanced knowledge of metallurgy to analyze and address welding-related challenges.
• Execute and interpret various NDT techniques (e.g., radiographic testing, ultrasonic testing) to verify weld quality.
• Develop and maintain welding procedures and protocols in alignment with project needs and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA/QC teams to resolve welding-related issues.
• Train and mentor junior staff on welding techniques and inspection standards.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and certifications.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field.
