Job summary

Honeywell International, Inc. is seeking an experienced Welder Advanced - Level 1 in Pune, India. You will perform welding to join metal components using GTAW and SMAW, interpret blueprints, and ensure weld quality and safety across a range of materials and pipe configurations.

Responsibilities include setting up welds, operating cutting and beveling equipment, and inspecting welds for flaws. A strong background in CI/SS/Duplex/Hastelloy materials and ISO standards is expected, with 8–10 years

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a welder.
• Experience using GTAW manual process and GTAW+SMAW.
• Hands on welding in CI, SS, Duplex, Hastelloy.
• Pipe joints: Butt, Fillet, socket weld 1/2” to 12”.
• Knowledge of safety standards and protective clothing.
• Experience using saws, squares, calipers and similar tools.
• Knowledge of welding tests (Microscope, Radiography, etc.).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 45001, 50001.
• ITI- Welding OR Diploma -Mechanical.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience.
• A valid welding certificate preferred.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving and creativity.

As a Welder Advanced - Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will perform welding operations to join metal components using various welding techniques. Technical/Functional Skills:

• Proven experience as a welder.

• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures in GTAW manual process and mixed process GTAW+SMAW.

• Hands on experience in welding of CI, SS, Duplex, Hastelloy material.

• Experience in welding of pipe joints consisting of Butt weld, Fillet weld, socket weld from 1/2” to 12” sizes.

• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.).

• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)

• Knowledge of welding tests. Like Microscope, Radiography, Liquid penetrant, Tensile, Guided bend, Toughness, Microstructure, Corrosion.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001,45001,50001.

• ITI- Welding OR Diploma -Mechanical

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a similar industry.

• A valid certificate in welding from reputed institution is preferred

• Demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving and creativity.
