Job summary

Bauer Bodoni is offering an in-office internship opportunity in India for hands-on experience in corporate and social events planning. You will assist the planning team with live wedding mandates, capture client briefs, and coordinate with hotels, decorators, caterers, photographers and entertainment vendors.

You’ll help research venues and build mood boards for client proposals. Travel to destinations across India for on-site support and event days is required; weekends may be included.

Qualifications

• Experience in wedding, events or hospitality preferred.
• Willing to travel to wedding destinations across India and work on event days, including weekends.
• Strong spoken English and a calm, client-facing presence.

Responsibilities

• Assist the planning team on live destination wedding mandates for DWI – timelines, checklists, and production sheets.
• Speak with clients to capture briefs, guest counts, dates, budgets, and design preferences; document details.
• Coordinate with hotels, decorators, caterers, photographers and vendors on availability, quotes and deliverables.
• Research venues, decor references and concepts; help build client-facing proposals and mood boards.
• Support on-site set-up, rehearsals and event-day execution at wedding destinations across India.
• Track payments, vendor confirmations, and change requests against each event file.
• Run post-event wrap-up — vendor settlements, client feedback and asset collection.

About the internship

1. Assist the planning team on live destination wedding mandates for Destination Weddings India (DWI) - timelines, checklists, and production sheets
2. Speak with clients to capture their brief, guest count, dates, budget, and design preferences, and keep every detail documented
3. Coordinate with hotels, decorators, caterers, photographers and entertainment vendors on availability, quotes and deliverables
4. Research venues, decor references and concepts, and help build client-facing proposals and mood boards
5. Support on-site set-up, rehearsals and event-day execution at wedding destinations across India
6. Track payments, vendor confirmations, and change requests against each event file
7. Run post-event wrap-up - vendor settlements, client feedback and photo/video asset collection
