The role requires hands-on WAS administration, strong troubleshooting abilities, and collaboration with DevOps practices to ensure reliable web services and secure deployments.

Qualifications

• WAS Admin hands-on experience required.
• Hands-on experience with Tomcat and SSL certificate management.
• Strong shell scripting and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with CVE-based vulnerability assessment.

Responsibilities

• Manage WebSphere Application Server and Tomcat deployments.
• Configure and troubleshoot WAS/SSL in test and production environments.
• Create and maintain shell scripts for automation and monitoring.
• Use Ansible/Jenkins for CI/CD and task automation.
• Gather traces, analyze PMRs, and test scenarios for issue resolution.

H- Scripting shell - understand, write, and troubleshoot

• Deployment experience - good to know as shows a certain level of person but is usually irrelevant to our VAH setup
• Configuration via console - good to know and.
• Troubleshooting - trace gathering. PMR raising. Must Gather. We will give test scenarios
